From Heritage to Nature: Explore Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan

After having breakfast, we start our guided tour of Kathmandu sightseeing. We will visit many of the cultural and natural Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath stupa, Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, and Durbar Squares.

These places are of vital historical and cultural significance. The temples are sacred sites for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. Similarly, the durbar square areas represent the various kings and rulers throughout Nepal’s rich history.

We will visit Godawari-Garden of dreams and other renowned places of the capital like Central Zoo. We will have lunch during the day along with dinner in the evening before returning to our hotel.

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will now drive to Pokhara. We will take a deluxe bus to Pokhara, which will take about 6 to 7 hours.

Upon reaching Pokhara, we will then receive a private vehicle to our hotel. Later, we will take a short boat ride around Phewa Tal. Alternatively, we can also reach Pokhara by flight.

On the fourth day, we will be visiting the hill of Sarangkot to see the beautiful sunrise. Thus, we start early at 5:00 am when we head towards Sarangkot. After a half an hour ride, we will reach there. We will see the sunrise along with some magnificent views of Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri, and the Annapurna range.

After spending a couple of hours there, we will get back to our hotel to get our breakfast. After some rest, we will begin sightseeing around Pokhara. We will visit several sites like the Tal Barahi Temple, Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, and Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda, among others. We spend the night at our hotel and opt to try the typical Nepali cuisine.

After breakfast, we drive to Chitwan. The drive is of about 5 to 6 hours with lush vegetation along the way. We’ll drive through hills and valleys with the scenery of mountains in the background.

After we reach there, we will get to our hotel or resort. After refreshments at the hotel, we will walk around the Tharu Village nearby. We will get to know about their culture, traditions and history. Then we will enjoy a sunset in the Rapti river and get back to our hotel.

The sixth day is dedicated entirely to the Chitwan National Park. We will discover the most popular national park in Nepal which is home to some of the unique and endangered species of the world.

We will also ride on an elephant through the jungle. The national park is home to creatures like rhinoceros, wild bison, leopards, tigers, butterflies and some 500 species of birds. We will also take a bath with an elephant in the Rapti river, which is quite a fun activity. We will also explore more of the Tharu culture as we watch their tribal dance.

On the 7th day, we head back towards Kathmandu. After having breakfast, we get on our bus and start our journey. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner at a Nepali Restaurant.

Our representative will take you to the airport for your final departure.
