Can overseas agencies work with North Nepal Travel & Trek?

Yes. We provide Nepal ground operations for overseas travel agencies, tour operators, clubs and group organisers, structured as net-rate reselling, white-label / private-label operations or one-off group bookings from 6 paying travellers. We handle itinerary design, permits, guides, accommodation, transport and on-trip problem solving; you keep the client relationship. Trade enquiries are answered within one working day at [email protected].

Why operators work with us

Not because we are the cheapest or the biggest. Because when something goes wrong at 4,000 metres, your client is with people who can fix it.

You reach the decision-maker

Trade enquiries go to Mohan, the managing director. No account manager, no handover, no waiting for someone else to approve a change.

We control the operation

Our own guides, our own vehicles, our own permits. Nepal is not subcontracted to another agency, so when you ask us something we know the answer rather than having to ask.

Built around the traveller

Almost nothing we run is a fixed package. Send us the profile and constraints and we design to them — pace, rest days, accommodation standard, side trips.

You hear it from us first

If a flight cancels or a route closes, we tell you before your client does. You should never learn about a disruption from an upset traveller.

Your client stays your client

We do not market to travellers you send us. If one contacts us directly for a future trip, we tell you.

We tell you when to say no

If a brief is not operationally realistic — a compressed altitude schedule, a permit window that will not clear — we say so before you sell it.

How the partnership works

From first brief to post-trip reconciliation.

  1. 01

    You send the brief

Dates, destination, traveller profile, group size, budget and anything unusual about the requirement.

  2. 02

    We build the operation

Itinerary, accommodation, transport, permits, guides and ground logistics — costed line by line.

  3. 03

    You sell with confidence

You receive the quotation, net rate and the supporting detail you need to answer your client’s questions.

  4. 04

    Your clients travel

Our team runs the agreed operation on the ground, from airport pickup to the last transfer.

  5. 05

    We stay connected

Disruptions, changes and anything that affects your client reach you from us, not from your client.

  6. 06

    We close the trip

Final reconciliation, feedback on how it ran, and what we would adjust for the next group.

When plans change, we handle it

Any operator can run a trip that goes to plan. These are travellers describing what happened when theirs did not. Each links to the original review.

A cancelled flight, a missed international connection

Our return flight to Kathmandu was cancelled due to bad weather. … This meant we also missed our international flight home. Mohan had been keeping track, booked us back into our hotel and returned to the Pokhara airport to pick us up even though it was late. … He also called his travel contacts to help us with the difficult task of trying to rebook our international return flights.

Two clients stranded in the wrong city

2 people in our party got stuck in Kathmandu due to poor flying conditions. Mohan sent his personal car and a driver to take them to pokhara so they wouldn’t miss the trip.

A medical emergency, without losing the group’s trip

When I had a health problem on the route – they acted immediately and very effectively. They not only quickly took me to the hospital and accompanied me there, but also promptly changed the route for the rest of the participants, so everyone was very satisfied.

A trail destroyed by late monsoon

Gathered local updates about trail conditions after a late-monsoon event destroyed parts of the trail. Kept us updated and safe as we navigated the reopening of the trail. … Assisted with our purchase of local bus tickets and organizing a jeep … during a busy Diwali holiday.

Tibet and Bhutan cannot legally be operated independently by a Nepali company. We manage the relationship, itinerary and quality standard; the ground crew belongs to our partner in each country.

Questions partners usually ask

Will you contact or market to my client afterwards?

No. Whether you resell on net rates or we operate under your brand, your client is yours, and we do not add them to any mailing list or approach them for repeat business. If they contact us directly for a future trip, we tell you.

Can the trip run entirely under our brand?

Yes, as a white-label / private-label operation. Documentation can be unbranded or carry your branding, and guides are briefed to represent your programme. Permits must legally be issued through a licensed Nepali operator, so our licence number appears on those — that is a legal requirement, not a branding choice.

How much lead time do you need?

Teahouse treks in Annapurna and Everest can often be arranged at short notice. Restricted-area permits for Manaslu, Upper Mustang, Dolpo and Tsum Valley need roughly three to four weeks. Tibet needs longer, and the permit window is controlled by Chinese authorities rather than by us.

What happens if a client needs evacuating?

The guide makes the descent call and does not wait for authorisation. We coordinate helicopter evacuation and hospital referral, and we contact you at the same time so you are not hearing it from your client first. Evacuation is claimed against the traveller’s insurance, which is why we require confirmed cover before departure.

Do you operate Tibet and Bhutan yourselves?

No, and we would rather say so. Nepal is our own operation — our guides, our vehicles, our permits. Tibet and Bhutan are coordinated through established local partners we have worked with for years, because foreign operators cannot legally run those programmes independently. We manage the relationship, the itinerary and the quality; the ground crew is theirs.

What currency do you quote in, and how do we pay?

Quotes are in US dollars. Payment is by bank transfer or Wise against a formal invoice from North Nepal Travel & Trek Pvt. Ltd. We are VAT-registered in Nepal and can issue documentation your finance team will accept.

How flexible are the itineraries?

Fully. Almost nothing we run is a fixed package — most programmes are built around the group. Tell us the traveller profile and constraints and we will design to them, including pace, rest days, accommodation standard and side trips.

What group sizes can you handle?

From two travellers to school and university groups of forty. Above roughly twelve we add assistant guides so the guide-to-traveller ratio stays workable, and we scale porter and logistics support accordingly.

We are not a travel agency. Can we still send travellers to you?

Yes. If you are an individual, organiser or smaller business who wants to send travellers our way, email [email protected] and we will talk through an arrangement that suits how you work. Arrangements like this are agreed individually with our team.

Bring your group. We will take care of the ground operation.

One-off group bookings start at 6 paying travellers. We plan the programme and run the ground operation. For qualifying groups of 6 or more, the designated group leader or tour manager can receive complimentary ground-trip arrangements, excluding international flights, visa fees and city stays.
