Located north of Pokhara, Mardi Himal is at an elevation of 5587m above sea level. Residing beneath the eminent Machhapuchhre Himal, this destination is famous for trekking and also getting popular to get a magical view from up above and seeing the mountain peaks up close.

The tour starts from Pokhara airport with a bird’s eye view of this small and beautiful city. We then move towards the mountains passing over the luscious forests preparing you already with an excitement of what more is to come.

The whole journey feels like suspense. When you approach the mountains, when you cross them each moment it creates a curiosity as to what’s beyond that. And what you get does not disappoint this feeling because you get a larger and more breathtaking view every time. The tour is about 12 to 15mins long. We land at the Mardi Himal High Camp (3850m) where you will be covered with mesmerizing views of snow-covered mountains such as the south side of Machhapuchhre(Fishtail) along with rhododendron bushes and the colourful Danphe. You will have 30mins time to stay at the high camp, enjoy the world here and capture some on your phones and cameras.

Day 1

Pokhara- Mardi Himal High Camp- Pokhara

We get on a private vehicle from the hotel to the Pokhara airport. We take off from Pokhara airport at 6 or 7 AM. The helicopter can accommodate a maximum of 5 people with a side window for each person. Our helicopter ride begins after the airport conducts essential security procedures.

It takes about 15 mins to reach to Mardi Himal. Mardi Himal lies beneath the eminent Machhapuchhre Himal. Over the rich rhododendron forests from the high camp, you get a close-up view of Annapurna south, Hiunchuli, and Gangapurna. You will get 30 mins at the high camp to enjoy the views and immeasurable beauty nature provides. Capture the moments on your phone, camera and certainly in your heart.

Thirty minutes later we get back on our helicopter and head back to Pokhara. Upon landing in Pokhara, a cab takes you back to our hotel.

Booking & Flight Guidelines: Mardi Heli Tour

The helicopter ride may be delayed due to visibility below 2.5 km, air traffic, or lengthier weather confirmation. In such cases, replacement flights are arranged for the next day on mutual understanding.
If the return ride is cancelled due to bad weather, we will try our best to arrange accommodation, but the expenses must be paid by the clients themselves.
In a shared ride, the cost is divided per person. Apart from bad weather, the flight can be cancelled if any member of the group cancels.
If a member cancels during a shared ride, the flight will only continue if a replacement is found or if the remaining members agree to bear the extra cost.
If landing is not possible at the targeted destination due to bad weather, clients can choose an alternate destination. A refund will not be given in such cases.
25% of the total flight cost is required as a booking amount, with the remaining 75% due between 2 to 6 days before departure. There is no refund for last-hour cancellations.
