North Nepal Travel & Trek is a Pokhara-based trekking operator working directly with travellers, without overseas agents in between. Founder Mohan Raj Bhandari handles planning and communication personally, while licensed Nepali guides and a local operations team run every trek on the ground.
Not claims about being the best. Just what happens, so you can judge whether it suits you.

What we do
Enquiries come to Mohan directly on WhatsApp and email. He writes the itinerary, quotes the price, and stays the contact through your trip. There is no sales team and no account manager handover.
Why it matters: the person answering your questions is the person who has to make your itinerary work.

What we do
Most departures run as private trips for your own party. Where we do run shared groups, the maximum is {n} trekkers per guide.
Why it matters: pace is set by your group, not by the slowest person in a party of twenty strangers.

What we do
Offices at 13th Street Lakeside in Pokhara and Bhagwan Bahal, Thamel in Kathmandu. Guides, porters and office staff are employed locally and paid locally.
Why it matters: if something goes wrong at 4,000m, the people solving it are two hours away, not on another continent.

What we do
We build rest days into high-altitude routes and will tell you when a schedule you've found elsewhere is too fast for the altitude gain involved.
Why it matters: a trip that's two days shorter is not a better trip if you spend the last three days unwell.

What we do
Permits, guide, porter, teahouses, transfers and domestic flights are itemised before you pay. Card processing fees are stated up front rather than added at checkout.

We can't promise nothing will go wrong at altitude. We can tell you how we plan, and how we decide.
We plan conservatively and make decisions based on the conditions in front of us — not on the schedule we printed in Pokhara.
Rest days are built into high-altitude itineraries rather than offered as an upgrade. {Describe the actual altitude-gain rule you follow.}
Guides check on each trekker daily and ask directly about symptoms. {State only the monitoring you genuinely do — for example whether pulse oximeters are carried.} If someone shows signs of altitude sickness, the response is descent.
Your guide has authority to change or stop the route. A guide who turns a group around is doing their job, not failing at it.

Travel insurance covering trekking to your maximum altitude and helicopter evacuation is required before departure. We send the exact criteria and won't run a trek without it.

We'd rather tell you something inconvenient before you book than surprise you in the mountains.
Weather closes the Everest region regularly in any season. Build spare days at the end of your trip — we'll tell you how many. {State who bears the cost when this happens.}
If you tell us your fitness and we think a route is wrong for you, we'll say so and suggest a different one — even when the one you asked for costs more.
Compressed high-altitude schedules are the single most common reason trips go badly. If a competitor's quote is two days shorter, that's usually why it's cheaper.
{State the real percentage.} Bank transfer and Wise avoid it. We'd rather tell you now than add it at checkout.
Above {altitude}, expect shared bathrooms, cold rooms and paid charging. If that's a problem, tell us early and we'll plan differently.
