Bungee Jump Pokhara- A Thrilling Experience
Experience Nepal's premier bungee jump at Go Bungy International, with North Nepal Travels and T...
OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS
World's 2nd Highest Bungee Jump - Kushma Bungee Jump is a must-do adventure activity in Pokhara. It is 228 m (748 ft) tall above the Kaligandaki Gorge, bridging two districts of Nepal: the Kushma and Baglung districts. The bungee jump from the 520 Meter suspension bridge in the gorge of the Kali Gandaki river is one of the most thrilling activities in Nepal. Perhaps in the whole world.

This bungee jumping spot is one of the three bungee spots in Nepal, the other two being at the Bhote Koshi River (~160 m) and Pokhara (101 m). Also called Kushma Bungee Jump, it is also the world’s third-highest bungee spot after Zhangjiajie Bridge Bungee (260 m) and Macau Tower Bungee Jump (233). That also makes it the world’s second-highest bridge-based bungee jump.
Before stepping onto the suspension bridge, participants undergo thorough safety briefings, weigh-ins, and individual health screenings. Jump staff check for underlying medical conditions—such as heart issues, high blood pressure, or back injuries—to ensure every jumper is physically cleared for the extreme G-force and adrenaline experience.
In the rare event of an unexpected injury or medical incident at the adventure site, on-site emergency response protocols are immediately activated. Coordination with local medical clinics and our Pokhara/Kathmandu offices ensures prompt transfer and treatment if required.
All participants must hold comprehensive travel insurance that explicitly covers extreme adventure sports, bungee jumping, and high-adrenaline activities. Policy details must be presented prior to jump day to ensure seamless emergency support if needed.

Kushma Bungee Jump is in Parbat District, about 60 km from Pokhara. The jump takes place from a 520-meter suspension bridge over the Kali Gandaki Gorge, connecting Parbat and Baglung.
The bungee jump is 228 meters (748 feet) above the Kali Gandaki Gorge. The jump has approximately 4.5 seconds of free fall, making it one of Nepal's most notable high-altitude bungee experiences.
No. Previous bungee jumping experience isn't required. Before the jump, trained staff provide a safety briefing, explain the procedure, fit your harness, and check your weight so the bungee rope can be correctly calibrated.
Allow around 1–2 hours for the complete bungee experience, including registration, health checks, briefing, equipment fitting, preparation, and the jump. The actual free fall lasts only a few seconds.
Kushma Bungee uses international-standard equipment that is regularly inspected, with trained professionals supervising the activity. Participants receive a health check and safety briefing before jumping. As with any extreme adventure activity, there are inherent risks, so all safety instructions must be followed.
Before jumping, medical professionals check your blood pressure and ask about your health history. Serious heart conditions, high blood pressure, asthma or breathing difficulties, back or nerve problems, and significant injuries or joint problems may make bungee jumping unsuitable. If you're unsure about your health, consult your doctor before booking.
For the bungee jump, the stated weight range is 45–100 kg.
For the swing/tandem swing, the range is 35–145 kg, subject to fitting the harness safely.
Participants aged 18 and above can participate after the basic medical check. Anyone under 18 requires written permission from a parent or guardian.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and secure, closed-toe footwear. Avoid loose clothing, jewelry, or accessories that could fall during the jump. Long hair should be tied back securely.
The necessary bungee equipment and harness are provided at the site.
Personal cameras aren't recommended during the jump because loose equipment can fall into the gorge. A GoPro recording option with photos and video is available for an additional NPR 1,500. The package also includes a complimentary T-shirt.
