OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS
Boasting a total length of 1.8km, with an inclination of 56 degrees and a vertical drop of 600 meters, it is one of the tallest and steepest zip lines in the world. The Zipline in Pokhara is located in one of the most beautiful places in Nepal, so you’ll be hard-pressed to find anything quite like it.
At the top station in Sarangkot, every rider is weighed and receives a safety briefing on body position and what to expect during the descent. Rides are paused during heavy rain, lightning, or strong wind.
In the rare event of an injury or unexpected incident, staff at the top and bottom stations are in constant radio contact and trained in first-aid. Direct communication lines are maintained with our Pokhara and Kathmandu office to ensure quick on-ground logistics and coordination with local emergency services if needed.
The zipline needs no special fitness, but riders must be within the operator's weight range (about 35–125 kg) and should inform us of any heart, back, or neck conditions or pregnancy beforehand. Comprehensive travel insurance covering adventure sports is always encouraged for total peace of mind.
