Manaslu Circuit Trek water

Fresh spring water flows in the mountain region of Nepal. Drinking water directly from the source is safe and normal for local people. However, we do not recommend you to drink water directly from the streams. It is always recommended to use water purification tablets before drinking water directly from the source. While crossing Larkya La Pass, you might need to carry enough water for yourself because you will not get water to drink until you descend.

Manaslu Circuit Trek hygiene

Manaslu Circuit Trek is a clean trek. You walk through an alpine forest full of canopy Pine and Rhododendron trees, the National flower of Nepal. Worried about Teahouse hygiene? You don't have to. They are clean and often used by trekkers and travellers. Owners are aware of hygiene and often keep them clean. The trail can be smelly sometimes due to the dung of Yaks, Donkeys, and Horses.

Manaslu Circuit Trek weather

The weather is pleasant most of the time in the Manaslu region, however, it heavily depends on the season. Spring and Autumn/Fall are the best seasons for trekkers with pleasant weather and cool temperatures. The forest of Pine, Fir, Rhododendron, and Juniper makes the walk less tiring. The Manaslu region is less affected by the monsoon. Most of the parts of Manaslu fall in the rain shadow area. Summer brings dry erosion and landslides in some sections, which might block the trail in the upper mountainous region.

Manaslu Circuit Trek trail conditions

The Trail of Manaslu is in good condition. Traill is graded moderate. You have to cross several suspension bridges, ascend, and descend. Most of the trail is rugged and stone-paved. Crossing Larkya La Pass can be a difficult section of the Manaslu Circuit trek due to its high altitude and snow in the winter.
