Upper Mustang Trek - 14 Days
The 14-Day Upper Mustang Trek starts from Kathmandu via Pokhara & Jomsom into the trans-Himalaya...
OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS
Royal Trek starts outside Begnas Lake. It is one of the shortest treks around Pokhara that involve hiking along the foothills of Annapurna. Royal Trek takes us to the village of the Gurung community and other ethnic groups and provides some gorgeous views of the snow-capped Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre and Lamjung Himal. The royal trek takes 4 to 5 days to complete.
This enjoyable trek requires no earlier trekking experience making it an excellent trek for new trekkers as well as aged people. The hike leads you through some cultural habitats which are immensely rich in tradition. Moreover, you’ll get to see panoramic views of the Pokhara valley. Also, you’ll enjoy walking through the forests of rhododendron and magnolia.

Best Season: October to April offers the clearest mountain views on this short, low-altitude trek near Pokhara – it can be done nearly year-round, with the monsoon (June-September) being the main exception.
While the Royal Trek reaches a comfortable maximum altitude of 1,760 m (5,774 ft)—keeping altitude health risks minimal—our itineraries feature steady pacing across terraced farmlands, forested ridges, and village trails. Guides conduct routine daily check-ins to ensure all participants, including families and new trekkers, remain well-hydrated, comfortable, and pace themselves safely through local weather and terrain conditions
In cases of unexpected injury, acute illness, or adverse weather conditions, emergency evacuation support is coordinated directly through local rescue services. Evacuations are initiated promptly upon assessment by your guide in communication with our Pokhara and Kathmandu offices
All trekkers must hold comprehensive travel insurance covering emergency medical treatment, standard hill trekking, and emergency rescue/evacuation. Insurance details must be submitted prior to the departure of the trek to streamline emergency logistics if required
Secure the Royal Trek Nepal for 2026/2027 before the seat gets fully booked.
